Anne-Marie O'Leary

Anne-Marie moved to Ireland in the summer of 2006 from South West London. She settled in County Cork where her Grandmother came from. Prior to moving to Ireland she worked at London Heathrow airport in security, meeting thousands of passengers every day, often rubbing shoulders with the occasional celebrity.

In 2007 she began her Veterinary career working in a small animal practice in Cork as a trainee Veterinary nurse. She graduated from St. Johns College in Cork in 2009 and remained at Westside Veterinary Clinic where she gained over 15yrs of experience, taking on the role as a Practice Manager in September 2020.

Since joining IVC earlier this year she has completed the mental health first aider course. Always willing to help and always has a smile,  Anne Marie's extensive knowledge of the Veterinary industry along with her fantastic personality is what makes her such an asset to the IVC team.

In her spare time she enjoys taking off in the outdoors with her two beautiful sons, kayaking, day trips and treks. She also enjoys helping out with the local school's parents association, which she previously chaired for four years.

Anne-Marie is building on her plethora of animals which include her 13yr old retriever Poppy, Bella the Cavachon. 3 cats Abbadoo, Frankie and Wally and 3 hens Mildred, Skye and Susie.
