Una Carroll

Una has been a veterinary surgeon since 1994, when she qualified from University College Dublin. She spent a year as Intern at the UCD Veterinary Hospital before working for almost 18 years in Cardiff for PDSA (the UK’s largest veterinary charity).

Una has worked with Anicare for 8 years. She is part of a busy team caring for the pets of Glasnevin and the surrounding areas. She has a special interest in dermatology and feline medicine, but enjoys the daily challenges of being a GP vet.

Una has been a member of IVC’s Small Animal Clinical Board since 2022.

In her spare time, Una is a keen sea swimmer and loves the outdoors. She likes to spend as much time as she can with her husband Tony, 2 children and 3 cats.
