Clinical Director - Oaklawns Veterinary Surgery
We are looking for an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon, ideally someone with leadership experience or an experienced vet looking to move into leadership role. Required to perform the duties of a practicing vet working to high clinical standards within this mixed practice. Of course, there will be some admin involved too including being involved in the finances of the surgery, budgetary management, stock management and addressing any clinical issues which may arise.
Oaklawns Veterinary Surgery is a first opinion, mixed practice located in Carlow Town, Co. Carlow. (Carlow is located in the South East of Ireland, approx. 1.15hr from Dublin, 1hr from Wexford and 1hr from Waterford.). The practice is a mixed practice, predominantly a small animal practice (approx. 60%), with the large animal continually growing and developing. John Brophy MRCVS is currently the Clinical Director and leads a strong team of four vets, one nurse and four support staff.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic vet who is motivated, experienced and has strong communication skills. The ideal candidate would be a 'people person' who takes a genuine interest in their work environment and is a real team player. Management experience although not essential, would be an advantage.
