Shenick Vet Centre are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team on a full-time basis. The role will entail nurse consultations, monitoring surgery, radiographs, lab work and some reception duties. You will be fully supported within the role and we encourage further development.
The shift pattern would be 35 to 40 hours per week over 5 days, with 1:3 Saturdays. There is no out-of-hours work with this post.
Salary from €27,000 to €32,000 depending on experience.
About the Team and Culture
We are a small animal practice based in North County Dublin, we offer a modern, progressive facility with all the mod cons. Our friendly and welcoming team consists of 7 Vets, and 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses spread over 3 clinics with support staff and full-time receptionists. We work well as a team and encourage professional development and have veterinary specialists in USG, Endoscopy, Ophthalmology and Exotics. We are an experienced and clinically strong practice, who have the facilities and caseload to support clinical development.
We will consider newly qualified, enthusiastic nurses and experienced nurses and we have facilities in place for full training. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication skills, provides exceptional veterinary care and works well within a team.
