Veterinary Nurse - Arena Veterinary Hospital
Arena Veterinary Hospital in Wexford require a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their supportive and friendly team. General nursing duties but an interest in surgical nursing especially orthopaedic cases would help. There’s potential to progress to the role of Head Nurse for a suitable experienced candidate. Working between 4 and 5 days per week including a half day every second Saturday. No OOHS. Some shifts are 10 hours long, some are shorter. They are flexible.
Salary of up to €36,000 depending on experience plus benefits.
We are a 100% small animal hospital with some orthopaedic referral work. Full suite of blood testing machines, dental X-ray, digital X-ray, ultrasound scanner. Situated in the beautiful Wexford town- a large mediaeval lively town on the sunny Southeast coast famed for its long sandy beaches. One and a half hours drive from Dublin City and minutes from Rosslare Europort.
About the Team and Culture
We are a friendly and supportive team of 5 vets, 4 nurses, and 4 support staff. An ideal practice for a new graduate nurse or a nurse who wishes to develop their skills. We offer a culture of inclusivity and teamwork, the ability to mentor those who wish to develop as well as actively encourage further development.
Our ideal candidate is a Registered Veterinary Nurse, who demonstrates the ability to work well within a team. Preference is for an experienced nurse wishing to take on more responsibilities and progress to a Head Nurse position, but all levels of experience will be considered.
