Anicare Veterinary Group is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head RVN to join our growing team in their small animal hospital in Blanchardstown.
Anicare is a progressive small animal general practice with a busy and interesting surgical and medical caseload. Our recently refurbished small animal hospital in Blanchardstown village boasts 4 consult rooms, ops theatre with multi parameter monitors, dental suite, digital x-ray room and cattery.

About the Team and Culture
Our team currently consists of FTE 16 Veterinary Surgeons, over 25 Veterinary Nurses and many support staff across all our practices. We have many certificate holders in anaesthesia, small animal surgery, feline medicine and more. Our team is friendly and driven, we offer a supportive environment and actively encourage further development.
The Role
Along with day-to-day nursing duties, our Head Veterinary Nurse would be involved in:
· Setting the standards in terms of professional conduct.
· Managing the Nursing Team.
· Managing stocking levels.
· Organising training to ensure a high level of nursing care.
· Monitoring staff performance & coordinate biannual appraisals.
· Organise/attend meetings.
· Clinical coaching.
· Equipment maintenance.
Our rota operates 5 days per week / 40 hours per week. Shifts are between 8 am and 7.30pm, 1 Saturday in every 3 weekends, no OOH.
We are offering a generous salary up to €42,000 + Benefits depending on experience.

We are looking for an experienced Head Veterinary Nurse, that must be able to lead, work well within a team and are registered with the VCI.
