Veterinary Nurse - Kilcoole Vets

 

Build your future. We are seeking a Veterinary Nurse to join our experienced team in our friendly, professional practice in Wicklow.  

 

The Role 

Make a difference and save lives 

  • Part-time, Maternity Cover role for a Registered Veterinary Nurse 

  • 25-30 hours per week / 3-4 days per week – flexible to suit the candidate 

  • 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am-2pm 

  • No OOH, Sundays or Bank Holidays 

  • Salary is up to €18 per hour  

  • New Graduate support and training with our bespoke Nurse Academy 

  • Ideally to start in November 2024 

  • Duties include: Nurse clinics, Post-Op checks, Emergency Triage, Inpatient Care, Surgical Nursing and more!

What we need from you 

  • Registered or eligible to register with the VCI in 2024
  • Experience is preferable but not required
  • New graduates and junior nurses will be given full support and training

Kilcoole Vets is a 100% small animal, progressive practice based on the main street of the seaside village of Kilcoole. We are accessible via Dublin Bus and DART. Our facilities include ultrasound, therapeutic laser, in-house blood analysers, microscopy, multiparameter anaesthesia monitors, digital x-ray and dental x-ray.  

 

Our highly dedicated team is made up of 4 Veterinary Surgeons and 3 Veterinary Nurses. With 2 certificate holders already on staff and 2 more working towards certificates of their own you will be supported by experience and experts with Kilcoole.
