Your next opportunity. Southview Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Nurse to join their team in February 2025. 

 

The Role 

• Full-time, Permanent position for a Registered Veterinary Nurse 

• 39 hours (5 days) per week 

• Shifts are carried out between 8am-7pm Monday to Saturday 

• 1 in 3 Weekends 

• Funding of any Certificates / Diplomas / PhD’s you may want to pursue 

• Enhanced annual leave

• Salary is €30,000-€31,940 commensurate with experience level 

 

You will be responsible for inpatients, medical cases alongside vet, handling prescriptions, customer service skills, teamwork, carrying out diagnostic tests, preparing for and assisting in surgery, and administration duties.

All applicants must be registered to practice Veterinary Nursing with the VCI and eligible to work from February 2025. New graduates welcome to apply – support and training will be supplied.

We offer specialty services in Cardiology, Canine Physiotherapy and Canine Reproduction. Our state-of-the-art hydrotherapy suite is run by our resident Veterinary Physiotherapist. We work closely with Paws and local TNR charities daily. 
 
Our Tipperary practice is an hour from Cork, Limerick and Waterford cities with the Blueway cycle track and beautiful river Suir nearby.
