IVC Evidensia is quickly growing and is now the largest veterinary group in the world. IVC was established in 2011 and through acquisition has since gone from strength to strength.

IVC Ireland was established in 2018 and has continued to grow its presence in the Irish veterinary market.

Due to our continued growth, and success, IVC Evidensia Ireland will begin a national HRIS roll-out in early 2025 and are looking to recruit a Change and Engagement to join the team and ensure our successful launch and integration of Dayforce in IVC Evidensia Ireland!

Pay & Benefits

  • Negotiable salary depending on experience (up to €45-50k per annum)
  • This role is full time, based remotely, with travel across Ireland visiting practices as required by the business
  • Full Clean Driver’s license, as travel is required to practises with the IVC Evidensia Ireland portfolio

Role Description

 

JOB TITLE:                      Change and Engagement Lead - Ireland

 

RESPONSIBLE TO:         Group Change and Transformation Lead

 

Main Purpose of Job

To lead and manage the change journey in IVC Evidensia Ireland as the business rolls out a HRIS and business transformation. Working to engage our practice leaders and teams, as well as our operations team, this role will lead the change through hearts and minds and will support in showcasing the value which the programme aims to achieve and provide. 

This is essentially a supportive, consultative and communicative function, to assist the project team in implementing the HRIS and ensuring successful adoption across the organisation.

Key deliverables and responsibilities are listed below, however, in line with the nature of such a multifaceted programme the expectations of your role may change from time to time and you are expected to be a flexible and dynamic team player whose goal is to ensure success of the overall programme and realize the benefits for IVC Evidensia Ireland.

 

  • Engage with and utilise existing support and resources to deliver the change strategy in Ireland.
  • This means enabling the function to take a change / people led approach to transformation and looking after the ‘people’ throughout the course of transformation, product development and improvement.
  • Work with the business to define the intended benefits of people technology/services enabled change and to ensure business readiness to adopt new ways of working and has a strategy and plan in place to realise those benefits.
  • Develop methodologies and initiatives in terms of engagement, communication, training, capability building and compliant adoption as well as benefit mapping and tracking.
  • Develop effective solutions in partnership with IVCE team members, combining their expertise about our business with your experience.  Solutions may include frameworks and toolsets, training and learning opportunities which can be used independently by clinics and hospitals across the Group to enhance productivity while optimizing employee and customer experience.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to define and implement target operating and support models to enable the business benefits associated with people technology.
  • You will be people focused, benefits focused and a conduit for steering the project towards business benefit realisation.
  • You will be passionate about change through learning, gauging feedback and continuous improvement of new ways of working and you will employ the lean 6 sigma ‘gemba philosophy’ to ensure programme and change enabling technology is not delivered from an ivory tower but that the people on the ground have a voice.

 

 

Duties

  • Track and report progress, risks and issues in line with the programme governance structure.
  • Design and implement a programme of change to optimise ways of working and deliver the benefit case.
  • Work closely and collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the business, focusing on hearts and minds by developing authentic relationships based on trust and confidence.   Through those relationships understand the challenges which are specific to our sector, the change curve and help to set the vision and map the route from as-is to to-be.
  • Oversee training, learning and communication plans and deliverables in Ireland.  Use creative problem solving and understanding of end user needs to feed in the development of training and end user material.  Assess the effectiveness of this and drive continuous improvement.
  •  You will carefully and sensitively drive the cultural change that will aim to encourage the current workforce and leaders to shine a torch on how they do things now and to be part of defining the new model.
  • You will bring a toolbox of methodologies to the table, such as change management methodologies, agile, design thinking, 6 Sigma/Lean.

 

 

Person Specification / Competencies:

  • A people person at the core and a desire and motivation to support others
  • Demonstrated change management expertise in multiple sectors of complex and varying structures.
  • Demonstrable impact on organizational performance through strong change management.
  • Tactical and operational experience of achieving change enabled by technology/group services.
  • HR system implementation experience (Dayforce, Workday, Timepoint etc)
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent people relationship, engagement and communication skills.
