Receptionist - Ark Vets, Galway

 

Ark Vets Galway is seeking a receptionist to join their experienced veterinary team. 

 

The Role 

• Full-time, Permanent position (40 hours per week) 

• 1 in 4 Saturday requirement 

• Salary is up to €30,500 commensurate with experience 

• Start date of May 2025

Applicant Requirements 

We are seeking a trustworthy, reliable and friendly person able to work in a fast-paced veterinary practice environment. The successful applicant must have: 

• Previous receptionist experience in any service-related industry 

• Experience in veterinary or animal care is beneficial but not essential 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Be competent with computers and learning new IT systems 

• Comfortable with cash handling 

• Demonstrate high standards of hygiene and cleaning 

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Be a team player 

• Possess great organizational skills 

• A love for animal welfare is a requirement
