We are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy small animal hospital with a supportive team and lovely clients. The role will involve a good mixture of surgery, consults and in-patient care with great resources to work cases up fully.
No out of hours calls. No Sunday Clinics. Variable working pattern depending on hours per week, might suit candidates looking for part time work. Some half days (2pm finish) during the week.
We are a very friendly, professional hospital where there is a huge emphasis on work/life balance. Strong support for mental health awareness, self-compassion, and resilience building. Support, mentoring and a commitment to CPD and further education are core values. Situated just west of Dublin city and well served by bus and rail for easy commute.
About the Team and Culture
We currently have a great team of 6 Vets, 7 Nurses, a Practice Manager and Support Staff. We are looking for someone who is friendly, good humored, mentally resilient and compassionate (to others and self). Ideally you will have experience of small animal consults and surgery and be interested in progressing and possibly undertaking a cert.
