Veterinary Surgeon Maternity Cover - Ark Vetcare
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team here at Ark Vetcare, Kilmacud!
Small Animal Vet required for a short-term contract stretching over six months. A general practitioner role to include consulting and surgery with responsibility for your own case load. Flexible working week, 7.30-4.30pm and 10-7pm, 2 weekend days in 28 and no out of hours.
Salary for this role is up to €75,000 per annum depending on experience.
Recently renovated premises in South County Dublin close to the city centre and the Dublin Mountains. 2 consulting rooms, separate theatre, diagnostic suite, and dental suite. All modern diagnostic equipment.
About the Team and Culture
Coming to work is a genuine joy, and we offer a friendly and supportive team environment. The facilities in all three clinics are state of the art with onsite Surgical Theatres, ECG, Ultrasound, Radiology and Laboratory facilities. Our team consists of 5 Vets, 3 RVNs, 2 Animal Care Assistants and 2 Customer Care Team Members. We have 2 certificate holders in medicine and 1 in surgery and offer a very friendly working environment.
The successful applicant demonstrates previous experience in a clinical setting with the ability to work up their own caseload. Excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a team and a high standard of clinical care are required for this role.
