The Role

• Mixed Veterinary Surgeon based in Wicklow Veterinary Clinic 

• 50% Small Animal, 50% Large Animal plus a small but dedicated Equine client base 

• Full-time, Permanent role 

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-6pm  

• OOH is 1 in 4 weekends plus 1 midweek night 

• Salary is up to €65,000 commensurate with experience 

• Relocation Allowance of €1000 to assist in relocating for the role (Terms and Conditions apply)

Applicant Requirements 

What we need from you 

All applicants must be registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland and eligible to work in Ireland from March 2025. Our ideal candidate must also be:  

• Competent in all aspects of LA medicine and surgery 

• Familiar with TB testing 

• Experienced in SA medicine and surgery 

• Some experience in Equine would also be beneficial but not required

Wicklow Veterinary Clinic is a busy 5 Vet mixed practice in Wicklow town. Our practice is modern and purpose-built with a focus on high quality veterinary services. Our premises comes equipped with on-site digital x-ray, ultrasound and laboratory. Wicklow is a beautiful coastal town with stunning beaches, the breathtaking Glendalough, and the scenic Wicklow mountains located only 1 hour from Dublin.
