Graduate/Junior Vet Role 

Clontarf 

Start Date: August 2025  

Salary: Up to €65,000 DOE 

Hours: 40 hours per week 

Weekends: 1.5 weekends in 6 (inclusive) 

OOH: None 

Clontarf 

Start Date: September 2025  

Salary: Up to €80,000 DOE 

Hours: 40 hours per week 

Weekends: 1.5 weekends in 6 (inclusive) 

OOH: None 

Clontarf (1 day/week in Santry) 

Start Date: September 2025  

Salary: Up to €50,000 DOE 

Hours: 40 hours per week 

Weekends: 1.5 weekends in 6 (inclusive) 

OOH: None 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced small animal vet to join our supportive and welcoming team for a fixed-term role. You will be confident in routine surgeries and consultations and enjoy delivering a high standard of first opinion care. 

 

This permanent role is perfect for a veterinary surgeon with a strong interest in surgery, including advanced procedures and orthopaedics. You’ll play a key part in our clinical team and enjoy the autonomy of occasional sole charge, supported by a wider network of certificate holders across the Anicare group. 

This is a fantastic entry-level role for a recent graduate or junior vet who is enthusiastic about growing their clinical and surgical skills in a structured, supportive setting. With experienced vets, nurses and certificate holders on-site, you’ll benefit from hands-on guidance and opportunities to develop in your professional career. 

Who we’re looking for:  

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in small animal practice 

  • Confident in routine surgery and clinical consultations 

  • Friendly collaborative and client-focused 

  • Not suitable for new graduates 

Who we’re looking for:  

  • Experience in both routine and advanced surgical procedures 

  • Interest in orthopaedics is a distinct advantage 

  • Confident managing sole charge when required 

 

Who we’re looking for:  

  • VCI registered veterinary surgeon 

  • Friendly, professional, and eager to learn 

  • Previous experience in first opinion practice is a bonus but not essential 

  • Suitable for new and recent graduates
