The Role 

Help shape the future of veterinary care 

  • Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon 

  • Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 

  • Core Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days), 1 in 2 Saturdays 

  • OOH: None 

  • Salary is highly competitive and commensurate with experience level 

  • Start Date: April/May 2025 

 

This is a 100% Small Animal, clinically focused role. You will be responsible for your own case work ups, with the freedom to develop your own skills and interests. Your main duties will include performing clinical consultations, general soft tissue surgery, and routine diagnostics.

All eligible applicants must be registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland and eligible to work in Ireland from April 2025.  

  • Experience in first opinion practice is required. 

  • Proficiency in consultations, surgery, diagnostics and case management is essential. 

We are also looking for:  

  • A willingness to learn and develop with the support of a closeknit team 

  • An outgoing personality able to work in a team environment 

  • Excellent communication skills 

This position is not suitable for a new graduate or a Veterinary Surgeon requiring support.
