The Pet Hospital in Waterford is a 100% small animal, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital with high quality equipment and a passion for animal care.
Our hospital has undergone a change in management and we are looking for young, fresh, vibrant Veterinary Professionals seeking to put their own stamp on the practice. This is a full-time, permanent position in a busy small animal veterinary hospital in the heart of Waterford city. The successful applicant will complement the veterinary team in our clinical and surgical medicine, bringing new knowledge and methods to the table as well as learning from the many years of experience that we have at the Pet Hospital. We find that working as a team, supporting each other, and expanding our knowledge and skills through CPD, brings about a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment. The Role
This is a full-time, permanent position of 40hrs per week.
Standard shifts include Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with every 3rd Saturday morning 9am-1pm.
The OOH rota is 1 night per weekday and 1 weekend in 8.
Salary for this role is up to €80,000 depending on experience level.
Applicant Requirements
This position is for an experienced veterinary surgeon registered with the veterinary council of Ireland and eligible to work in Ireland. The successful candidate must be proficient in both routine surgery and clinical medicine. We are looking for someone who is a team player with a good sense of humour and a passion for veterinary medicine. You can expect a relaxed and supportive team at the Pet Hospital with an appreciation of balance between work and play.
