Sunbeam Veterinary Group has an exciting opening for a Veterinary Nurse to join our team in our Small Animal Hospital in Northpoint.
Sunbeam Veterinary Group is a 100% small animal veterinary group based in Cork. Our very busy referral hospital is based in Northpoint on the Northside of Cork city. We also have clinics located in Blackpool, Cobh, Passage West and on Kinsale Road. Our industry leading referral services include CT Scanning, Radiography, Ultrasound, Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, Inhouse Laboratory, Orthopaedic Surgery (including spinal surgery), Hospitalisation facilities, Canine Hydrotherapy and Rehabilitation, and a 24-hour Emergency Service located in our main referral centre at Northpoint.
We currently have 16 Veterinary Surgeons, 18 Veterinary Nurses and 8 support staff in our group and are continually looking to expand. A number of our Vets and Nurses are certificate holders and we encourage further development with our fully funded certificates.
The Role
This is a full-time permanent position. Open to 4/5 days per week. 40 hours
You will provide day and weekend coverage, 1 in 6 weekends.
This role encompasses all aspects of nursing duties.
Salary is up to €32,000 depending on experience.
Applicant Requirements
All applicants must be registered to practice Veterinary Nursing with the VCI.
This position would be best suited to a Veterinary Nurse with experience in Emergency nursing experience, ECC cert preferred but not essential. New Graduates welcome to apply.
