Crescent Vets in Limerick is seeking a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to help lead their SA Veterinary team.

CVC Vets is a busy Veterinary group located in Limerick. We have a friendly, dedicated team of professionals and support staff, some of whom hold their own certificates in Small Animal Surgery and Advanced Veterinary Practice. As a team we have a strong focus on work-life balance, employee wellbeing and professional development. Our Clinical Director and management team pride themselves on promoting a supportive and friendly workplace. We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to help lead our team on a day-to-day clinical level.

Limerick is unique in that daily commutes are short. We are close to major motorways connecting us to Dublin, Galway, Clare, and Cork. Shannon airport is close by that connects us internationally as well!

The Role

• Experienced Veterinary Surgeon in a Senior leadership role
• Full-time, permanent position of 40hours/5 days per week, 1 in 4 weekend clinic cover
• 1 weeknight and 1 in 8 weekends on-call
• Salary is €60,000-€80,000 commensurate with experience level
• Full funding for any PG certificates / Diplomas /PhD’s you wish to pursue
• 22 days of Annual Leave plus additional Birthday Leave and 5 days of CPD leave; totalling 28 days or 5.6 weeks (excluding Bank holidays)

Applicant Requirements

• VCI/RCVS registered or eligible to register with the VCI
• Experience in SA first opinion practice is required
• Proficiency in surgery, consultations, internal medicine, ECC and diagnostics required
• Confident in running a practice as sole charge
• Able to communicate and delegate tasks to a veterinary team
• Be a respectful, professional and courteous individual
